Matt Preston's Banana Bread
As ek hoor piesangbrood sak my gemoed sommer. My ma het altyd die lekkerste piesangbrood bebak en daar was altyd een in die vrieskas. Maar ai ek sukkel maar met piesangbrood. Maar nie meer nie. Makliker as hierdie gaan jy nie kry nie.
Beslag is vir 1 broodjie
Matt Preston's Banana Bread (Master Chef Australia)
125gms butter, at room temperature
1 cup caster sugar
3/4 cups flour
2 eggs, at room temperature
3 ripe bananas
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
Whisk butter with caster sugar in a bowl.
Add eggs and keep whisking.
Add the bananas.
Add the flour, baking soda and salt and whisk till it folds into the mix.
Put the mixture in a greased loaf tin into a 180 C preheated oven for about 55 minutes or till the skewer comes out clean.
Wenk:
Hoe swarter die piesangs is hoe beter, druk hulle effens fyn met 'n vurk.
Ek het 1 t bakpoeier en 5ml vanilla essence by gegooi.
