MILK TART – MICROWAVE
BISCUIT BASE
1 Packet
Marie Biscuits
160g Margarine
1
Tbs
Coconut (pr according to tase)
3 Sugar spoons of sugar (or according to tase)
Crumble the biscuits fine, melt the margarine and combine it with the biscuits. Add the coconut with the biscuits. Spread the mixture into a Pyrex dish with lid, sprinkle the sugar over the crust. Let this cool while preparing the filling.
MILK TART
1 Tin
Condensed Milk
1 Liter
Milk (long life / full cream)
3 Jumbo
Eggs
1 Tsp
Vanilla Essence
2 Heaped
Tbs Maizena
1 Heaped Tbs Custard Powder
Boil together 2.5 tins of milk with the condensed milk for 4 minutes on high in the microwave.
In the meantime, beat together in a jug the rest of the milk from the liter of milk, the eggs, vanilla essence, maizena and custard powder. Add to boiled mixture.
Microwave mixture for another 4 minutes on high, stir. Microwave for another ± 4 minutes on high, stirring every 2 minutes until mixture becomes quite thick. Beat mixture with electric beater until smooth and pour into biscuit base.
Sprinkle cinnamon over. Let it cool
and keep in fridge.
